Welcome to Down the Road Less Traveled.  This blog will be a means of documenting our family’s journey.

Why “Down the Road Less Traveled” you ask?  Because we have made life choices that are not always seen as mainstream, such as homeschooling, trying to live sustainably, and pursuing a military career.

Our family –

Traveler – Evil mastermind of this project, wanting to have a positive influence on the world and those around her.  Enjoys gardening, running, cooking, camping, and relaxing with the family.

Trekker – A true lifelong learner and lover of all things surrounding political science.  Enjoys being surrounded by his family, researching, being at the beach, and camping.

Surveyor – Technically-minded, teenager learning to navigate his way in the world.  Enjoys history, sci-fi, mythology, Legos, robotics, and engineering.

Explorer – Anti-bows and lace chick, on her way to saving the world.  Enjoys writing, drawing, playing violin, mythology, and being outside.

Voyager – Boy on a mission to keep us all on our toes.  Enjoys a good joke, working in the garden, riding his bike, snuggling, and mythology.
